The web of life both cradles us and calls us to weave it further.
--Joanna Macy

As daylight lessens on my homeland and temperatures drop suddenly a strong urge to draw in the movements of the outer world and create space to allow clarity for the next steps presents itself.  Witnessing the shedding of all that is no longer generating life, spectacularly on display in the plant world, always stops me in my tracks.  What is Earth revealing this time?   The deep unravelling of systems looms large and threatens to overwhelm.  But there is so much more than I can ever imagine creating the future web.  How will I participate in the weaving?

-Pat Long
